ISC utilised its expertise to provide security for a week-long high profile sporting event in London's Hyde Park this summer. The close protection of major brands, iconic sporting figures and one of the most coveted trophies in professional football, whilst not detracting from the event's fantastic atmosphere, required the experience of an effective and efficient workforce.

Within Hyde Park, a range of renowned brands set up interactive tents, stalls and displays, requiring the skills of ISC personnel to ensure that merchandise and staff were well secured at all times. In addition, the appearance of high-profile trophies and ex-professional footballers provided ISC staff with a multi-faceted task. ISC's experience of events on this scale meant that staff knew how to operate effectively and diplomatically. By adopting a polite and respectful attitude, ISC staff helped to maintain a friendly atmosphere that enabled effective security, and consequently a safe environment for the attending public.
ISC staff had to remain focused and motivated at all times to ensure the public enjoyed the occasion and that ISC's clients were given the most comprehensive and attentive service possible.
One particular challenge embraced by ISC was Heineken's 'Endless Bar', which catered for hundreds of football fans. With high spirits and great camaraderie between opposing team supporters, a diplomatic yet vigilant approach was required from the ISC team to ensure all fans in attendance were safe - whilst allowing everyone to enjoy the event.
In addition to the visiting crowds, equipment and merchandise also needed to be safeguarded. ISC took this in its stride and ensured the site was fully secured at all times, adapting to the specific needs of each client. Those requiring the services of ISC included Sony, Ford and UniCredit; to ensure they each received the very highest standard of service, ISC had over 100 members of staff onsite at peak times.
The presence of football trophies and such well known sporting icons as Gary Lineker and Graham Le Saux, also required extra vigilance. Expertise such as this and a clear awareness of the importance of customer service is why ISC was selected for this event. The result was an extremely successful week of events - and great praise from clients.
